Not content with a Morheim sideline I got Flashing Blades the SOBH swashbuckling set. More like my Bushi no Yume than SOBH as weapons now have a Combat Value etc and a new mechanic of non fatal attacks (swashbuckling) to be done in the movement phase. Got them in the thought it may well work for samurai but then I made the mistake of going to see the new 3 Musketeers.
OOPs .. musketeer cut outs to play the first game while waiting for the Redoubt figures to arrive ... Now onto a bit of a rant. A week after ordering I enquired if the order ha gone through OK to be told there was a 3 WEEK wait time on orders. No friggin mention of that on the web site. I expect the manufacturers website to handle orders quickly OR at least say it on the website.
SO while pondering whether to cancel my order I got the Sirius Three Musketeer game which has 21 lovely hard plastic figures in it although they are quite tall. Maybe they will fit in with the Redoubt stuff; mmmm maybe I'd better not cancel. Anyway playing tomorrow so will report back.
