Feel the Force - Scene one ...

Introducing the rules to the family they were keen (not being gamers had something to do with it I think) to follow the films through ... so the first scene (scenario) is based on the opening of the film itself. Not a bad thing as they wanted to play the 'goodies' of course so I didn't feel cheated playing the Imperials without any heroic figures to fall back on.

Figures - Imperial Troops - One officer and 4 groups of extras (24 figures)
Rebels - Leia, the droids of course and 2 groups of extras (12 figures)

The Story so far ....
In a Galaxy far, far away ...
Karl Katarn had transmitted the technical data from the Death Star readouts to Tantive IV (Princess Leia's consular ship). However, Darth Vader, aboard the Star Destroyer 'Devastation' intercepted the craft just outside Tatooine's atmosphere and the tractor beam pulled them in.
Once secured the Dark Lord and his Stormtroopers board the ship in search of Leia and the transmission. Leia, realising what is going to hapwpen puts the information into a service droid called R2D2 who then leads his unwilling travelling companioon, C3-PO in search of an escape pod, The plan is to go and find who Leia wants to get the information back to her father ... a man to find is Obi-Wan Kenobi. Leia is then stunned and captured by Darth Vader.

So this was the action the scene (scenario) needs to vaguely cover. The table was set up in a series of corridors and rooms on two levels with 'lift shafts' between the levels.

The Stormtroopers will enter from one of two bulkhead doors so the initial setup of the |Rebels need to cover both. Meanwhile Leia and the droids start on the upper level but at different sides of the board. The droids will move around at random (but mainly away from the firing) until she gets to them and spends a special action putting in the message and information.

That is not the droid you are looking for ...

The droids then have to get to the escape pod which will be a Perception TN5 pool roll to activate. After the message has been uploaded to R2 any Imperial extras passing by will need to make a TN4 Perception Pool roll to notice something is amiss!
Normal Box Office Takings can be earned but with the following extras:
Rebels: 3 million for the droids escaping.
Imperial Forces: 2 million for getting the information off the droids or Leia, 1 million for capturing Leia.
